Hans Zimmer End Credits
End Credits is a musical theme composed by Hans Zimmer
for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. It
appeared as a track on the film's soundtrack.
The track begins with He's a Pirate, which is identical
to what's heard in the previous Pirates films, but with
the addition of Rodrigo y Gabriela. The track then moves
into Jack's action theme from "Jack Sparrow", with the
Spanish guitars taking over the pedal note at the top,
and the mermaid choir singing chord notes over the main
melody. The track ends with a brief reprisal of the
action theme first heard in "The Black Pearl".
As the title suggests, this track plays during the the
first part of the ending credits to Pirates of the
Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Aside from a few minor additions changes, including the
Spanish guitar take by Rodrigo y Gabriela, the track is
identical to the end credits of Dead Man's Chest.
There is no new music in this track.
An expanded edition of End Credits, heard in the demo,
features the full suite, showcasing all the major new
themes from On Stranger Tides.
