Please don't label me evil
Though I’m sometimes in the wrong
I've thought so much about your problem
And tried to bring it up
I retraced the steps you took
I tried so damn hard to look
At this with outside eyes but
The solution was not there
And for so long
I’ve always tried to tell you
But sometimes it gets really hard
to bring up the subject
The places you have never been
The faces you have never seen
The doors are now all opening
And now I hope that you belong
Please don't hold this one against me
I'm not so evil
You'd think that after this much time
I’d be confident to say
But how come when the time is right
I just keep my mouth shut?
Understand - I don't mean any harm
Forgive me - For not trying hard
Enough - To show you that I'm more then willing to
Give you a hand - An upper one I hope
Let you stand - or crutch you if you fall
Please understand why you have to do this alone
