Greenhill A Thousand Candles
Away in a manger, no crib for a bed. The little Lord Jesus lay down his sweet head. The stars in the sky looked down where He lay. The little Lord Jesus, asleep on the hay. We light a thousand candles bright around the world today. And all the beams will shine across the heavens' grand display. We light a thousand candles now to fear the dark away. And shine a path for those who have yet to know His glorious name. From high in the heavens to a cross of sin and shame. The little Lord Jesus deserves our endless praise. The stars in the sky is now where he lays. The little Lord Jesus leads us the way today.
