Everyone is a piece of the puzzle
a piece of the system, no man is an island
a single turning gear in the machine
we used to have a purpose and we used to dream
we traded it all in to feel secure
at the expense of all that we'd hoped for
the grinding wheels grind on until we're dead
what about all we were told as children?
