Ginger Holiday
I see a suitcase, some underwear and toothpaste,
And nothing but a lot of space joining them inside.
I know that when we get there I’ll buy whatever I wear
We travel light on the flight in the air tonight.
Oh, outside, it’s raining over Tyneside,
But come midnight the birds and I will be on our way.
Flying over England to catch another season
This is the evening we are leaving on holiday.

On our DC10 tonight.
And when we get there we’re seeing in the New Year,
Drinking in our easy chairs, sitting by the poolside,

Syne”.

I spent Christmas day dreaming ‘bout a holiday.
