Gibbler After The Rain
I sat outside.
Watched the clouds go by.
The sky turned overcast while hours past in time.
I closed my eyes.

I went to my room still scented with perfume.
I see your face still etched inside my mind.
I looked towards the sky.
Saw a lightning bolt pass by.
It crashed into my heart.
Your black clouds wont keep the bright rays meant for me.
