Genocide Approach Thanatopsy
I. Serendipitous Incarceration
She rests in the arms of a moonless sky. Held captive
as an unsuspecting child. The doors slam shut to form
her sepulcher, unanswered pleas to replenish her lungs
drain her further. Passersby maintain their title,
their eyes blind to her asphyxiation. Bruises form upon
her tender flesh from hurling herself at her captors to
no avail. Pacified by the steel's resistance, she
continues in vain. The immobility taunts her,
preemptively proclaiming victory. She exhales a banner
of surrender, and succumbs to her makeshift
tomb...until she is saved by --
II. Vengeance And Its Shortcomings
Running from the pursuer who once professed his
devotion. A new hostility is manifested in his
expression. A time-lapse tryst of star-crossed
heathens. The clouds have never seen their crescent
gleam so brightly. He brings the blade down onto her
lovely face, once graced by his kisses. Her body is
ground to a pulp in his cogs. Disfigured and
despondent, she leaves her carcass to find the candle
to be pinched, and no tunnel to be seen...until she is
saved by --
III. The Inception: Pupil Of The Dead
She pries open the Little One's casket, revealing a
nauseating scene. A child's body baptized in bile,
biting her tongue for the taste. Her rancid palate is
rife with the stench of death. Simultaneous injustice
at the hands of a simple twist of Thanatos. All shall
be rectified, as they become one new entity. Call forth
the Five Circles to initiate the new beginning. Rise,
little one, as Parhelion Incarnate. The canvas smiled,
its artist unaware of this new duality, and the
tumultuous years to come as a Pupil of the Dead.
IV. Schism In Corpus
The Little One denies her savior, and helplessly
watches as her identity fades to be usurped by her
demon, her provider. Let the world quiver with terror,
for she now bears the mark of the bisected cornea.
Holding the spirit of another within the Edenesque
cradle of her youthful memory, she ascends from carrion
to Chimera. As the years unfold, the expectorations
into the eyes of her Mentor start to collect and
coagulate. A gift of renewal and salvation taken for
granted and looked upon as a curse.
V. Betwixt Engram
The Furies descend to try the one who mourns her second
chance. She must emancipate herself from the tyranny of
her Pupil. The spirit lies aborted from its own body,
to follow the path of the Five Circles, starting anew.
Fear she who is suspended between rust and verdure,
growth and decay. Sixteen years spent striving to
return to her origin...the path is complete. The Mentor
has vivisected and overcome Thanatos; her irises
announce her new name. Fanfares now fire in her glory.
