Futures Holiday
I will push pause on you,
Until you throw me overboard.
I’ve been waiting in the longest of lines,
Saying all the wrong things,
At all the perfect times.

Whilst you turn another blind eye.
We all grow to live the shoes we’re in,
But I am one that takes a risk.
