More Than A Friend Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Oh, look at yourself now, and remember
How it all started (How it all started)
From the small gravel pit to the top of the world
And never half-hearted

[Pre-Chorus]
Just two buddies, one big dream
More friends came
And others departed
And others departed

[Chorus]
I just want you to know
You're more than a friend
One thing before I go
You're more than a friend
You are the guiding light
The saving shore
Believe mе, that's what friends are for
And you're morе than a friend
More than a friend

[Verse 2]
Look at us boys now, and remember
The day when we first met
From the top of the charts to the bottom of the bottle
I know what we had

[Pre-Chorus]
Now six years later, back on track
I thank you, buddy
For bringing us back (Bringing us back)
For bringing us back

[Chorus]
I just want you to know
You're more than a friend
One thing before I go
You're more than a friend
You are the guiding light
The saving shore
Believe me, that's what friends are for
And you're more than a friend

[Bridge]
The music in us
We were waiting by the roadside
And you were the bus to pick us up

[Chorus]
I just want you to know
You're more than a friend
One thing before I go
You're more than a friend
You are the guiding light
The saving shore
Believe me, that's what friends are for
And you're more than a friend

[Outro]
(We just want you to know)
You're more than a friend
(We just want you to know)
You're more than a friend
(We just want you to know)
More than a friend
(We just want you to know)
