Forever Changed The Vanity Letter
I found a letter on my desk that I wrote to myself.
This is what it said - It's hard to believe...
“To whomever this may concern, stop wasting your time
Pretending to be somebody you're not.
Stealing the spotlight from anyone you can,
It's been far to long.
“Silencing your every fear - this is what you need to hear:
You are so vain. You are so vain.
“Maybe someday you will come to see your insecurities.
The pressure and the pain to live out your dream.
Stuck in the middle of the ones you love;
Do not think that they know who you truly are
Your own enemy.
“Let me say that you're not a hero.
You're simply a man.
You're useless when left by yourself.
“Silencing your every fear - this is what you need to hear:
You are so vain. You are so vain.â€
