I watched the cities crumble,
Empires brought to their knees.
I watched the mountains tumble
Into the hungry seas.
I bore the weight of this world until my mind caved in.
I told them all to follow,
But they indulged in sin.
I was born to suffer for mankind.
No other revelation in my time of need.
I want to wake up from this dream.
I need this to end.
I tried to make them all see
That my fear is my only friend.
I walked the straight and narrow for all eternity.
