Fire When Ready They Call Her Echo
They took her to the top
They bluffed, they threw her off
40 feet she fell onto the rocks
Then lights out.
They walked away, assumed they'd never
See her brown eyes, and known they'd have to
Break a couple necks to keep their haven safe
As their laughter filled the sky
She found the air so full of murder
That she did not want to try
She didn't think that anyone would hurt her
Her fingers bled from perserverance
Her lungs took air that no one breathed in
Their laughter wouldn't stop so she just climbed
With one breath that filled her lungs
And the sky stared down with angry clouds
With her only shelter up, up.
And they call her 'Echo'
'Cause she always answered
Those who forget her and left her bleeding.

And as her hands appeared, she felt their stomach drop.
