Can't move ahead
I'm spread too thin
It's like a bullet in the head's the only way to win
Maybe I just gotta clear my mind
Maybe it all just goes away with time
The rest of my days spent last in line
And that's the attitude that'll keep me behind
No peace in my thoughts today
No light between these shades of grey
Seems like downhill is the only way
So what more can I say
If nothing more, it's a lesson learned
I pray to God it'll be your turn
But like they say, life goes on
Can't spend my time with self pity or sorrow
Gotta do my own thing and hope the rest will follow
