At the starting line you begin your day
you've got your tasks and your debts to pay
out of the house onto the streets
you stand tall you are the elite
You stride with pride into the town
everyone knows when you're around
you pay your debts you finish your tasks
just another day of the same old crap
Just another day in the life of
a skinhead only tryin' to get by
the road is rough and the path is unpaved
but you're too determined to loose your aim
You go to work, you bust your ass
for a barely adequate amount of cash
overworked and underpaid
life's a bitch what can you say
You've got your dreams for the future
a wife and kids the family life
so you keep working hard never letting up
so one day you will have it all
At the finish line you will end your day
another fun filled adventure of hard labor/low pay
eventually you hope it all pays off
‘cause you're sick and tired and you're off your rocks
From time to time shit gets tough
but you bite the bullet and will never give up
your destiny is not far away
as you step out side for another day
