I can feel how this world is unraveling
Dreams dying to be free from death
Duty marking the spot where passion is
Killing silently denying joy instantly
Few can change the world
And less decide to risk it
When all is said and done
These scars won't heal at all

All hope in the world is there to fade away

Hear the clock ticking devouring the hours away
In distress extinguishing the colors around us
Only whispers and echoes reaching out to the sky

I tried to change the world
