We've always tried to find the brighter side
To living out our lives the way that we decided
The glass was always halfway full

And the Devil has his way within our idle minds
Even so, we really can't complain

And all our ritualistic ways
Help us tolerate this place

The bird is feeling slightly bruised
And the horse is gearing up the goose
The rest of us line up abuse

Mixing up our facts with all our half-ass fables
