Dungeonbat Dissecting Eden
As bliss is torn from hazed eye -
demonic laughter resounds -
in cruel comfort -
the candle breathes its last -
no shades of sorrow -
no parting graces -
a grim enclosure of -
antagonizing memory -
no one must crawl behind these eyes again -
no one must crawl inside to snake this spine -
no one must crawl behind these eyes again -
no one must breathe the serpent sweet caress -
the ruination of the innocent -
the heartless lure of vacant faces -
and still I forge the chain that binds me -
as sure as winter - winter -
the scalpel incises the vibrant skin -
flesh parts -
enraptured as the purge begins -
and for a second the blindness is lifted -
as sure as nightfall -
nightfall -
no shades of sorrow -
