Drugstore Fanatics Ever Since
ever since i was a child
you know i’d lay down
i would just lay and
dream of growing up in time
in time to realize what was mine
i never could have answered why

about the future i gave up since
i became the child
a passive motion is my own part
the days go by
i just can’t focus on what i’ve left
or gained now since i’m with you

further away the race i live
through has full existence today

walking there remind me that today
is today though any day could be
just wake that side of me
