I got a girl I think I love her
I'm pretty sure I'm not too above her
She take a (?) at the local grocer
I've got a friend I think he knows her
Know her
(?) she's in my home room
I'd like to take her back to my own room

and sing the words of my favorite song
It goes

But in my dream she's on a beach
and she is well within my reach
I'd like to get to know her
there's things that I could show her
but then this fantasy's not real
So I can't say the way I feel

I call her at the United Nations
Different clothes and a different walk, yeah
You shoulda heard the way she talked
She went:

But in my dream she's on a beach

But then insanity's not real
