When only the night's
silent embrace
can comfort the loss
and black out the wake
My pen held above
the unwritten page
The embering hours
absolving your face
Retracing the voyage
It crawls out of view
I sit all alone
with memories of you.
Through thunder and thorn
Through fire and fear
The music your blood
your spirit so clear
On midsummer's night
you stumbled and shone
You heaven on earth
Before and beyond
The soft ocean wind
Your mischievous laugh
I have in my hands
Your pale silken scarf
Forever, my love
Forever I'm true
I missed you so much
I leave this with you.
It is impossible finding
A word to equal the silence
That lies inside me.
