I assume too much, I should probably stop overthinking everything
Cause you would never lie... what I was seeing was coincidence
I believed you every time, despite all the evidence
How come I had to hear it from someone else?
You really had me believing that I did it to myself
I was alone, overthinking, when my evidence gathered and strengthened
So I made up my mind and called you
And you said, "Ok, you were right... but how could I tell you?"
But you could never lie... the truth came out as you were leaving
This happens every time
