We Resist (free Palestine) Lyrics

We can't go on living life under oppression

We can't go on allowing violent dispossession

And we can't go on accepting murderous invasion

'Cause we are done trying softness and persuasion

Choose now

But our choice must be this

We resist therefore we exist

Free Palestine, is the life I live

It's the song I sing, it's the love I give

Free Palestine, is the choice I make

It's that wretched devil's law I break

We can't go on accepting racist institutions

We can't go on, looking for compromise solutions

And we can't go on, delaying vital revolutions

Cause we are done believing UN resolutions

Choose now

But our choice must be this

We resist therefore we exist

Free Palestine, is what it will be

In the vision of freedom that I see

Free Palestine, is my way of life

So that truth and justice will survive

We can't go on accepting violence and destruction

This can't go on, illegal settlement construction

And we can't go on, with those useless condemnations

And that's why this song, is a freedom declaration

Choose now

But our choice must be this

We resist therefore we exist

Free Palestine, is what it will be

In the vision of freedom that I see

Free Palestine, is my way of life

So that truth and justice will survive

RAP:

Free Palestine

Free all that's mine

Keep your hands off off our holy shrine

Free the P right now

It should be right now

Its way overdue

And I'm calling you

Stop injustice now

Got to trust somehow

That we will all be free

In prosperity

Free my country now

Hear your conscience now

I am calling you

To get active too
