I always try to concern myself with the weight of words
And analyzing vocations before I lay a verse
Some people speak without thinking like that's the way it works
You should've waited first
The words you speak will reveal the things that you take for granted
You show your weakness
People see it and take advantage
Sometimes it ain't the whole picture but how you paint the canvas
I hope you understand it
Sometimes it's underhanded
Sometimes it isn't fair
Sometimes your motivation for chasing it isn't there
Would it really matter what people thought if you didn't care?

Just watch the folks you admire approach the day-to-day

Find our own way to connect with the fans and move the crowd
