Despite Everything Prison
I built a prison, once long ago
No windows, no lights, no hope inside
I placed myself within this cell I had
With nowhere else to get away from here
Now I've rot locked inside
Did I forget the key?
Maybe I never wanted one anyway
My prison is my home, it keeps the joy outside
Sadness safely tucked away, my soul rots inside

Gonna make some noise
Gonna burn this f..cking place all down and make some
noise

A dream once lived, translucent and free
My dream is now in a shadow box, an ode to misery
How did this come about?
I feel upon my own demise, opaque and a lifeless hole
I drink from blood which spills from the open wound
Absorbed and released again, I long to see the end
