Demise Of Eros One Too Many Times
The world lays in bondage to its own false hopes.
My heart with is trapped by fruitless desire.
Can I toss the mountains that crush my freedom into the sea.
If not will my very life be ground to dust.
Will the dust call out your name.
Can a shackled mouth speak truth.
I long for freedom to want what will set me free.
Yet as a dog returns to its vomit so I live in filth anew.
Now with out you I am deep in the mire.
With my hands tied behind my back.
I have spit in the face of the only one who can save me.
Can I ask for help instead of forgiveness before I choke.
Would that be simply be just one too many times.
