Defying Control In The Middle Of Life
I’m always stuck in the middle
Never know which side to turn
Never deep in just one scene
Never knowing where to belong
Everybody talks about their scene
I know a little about each one
But they are the ones that make it
Moving on
But last time I checked I was doing fine
Holding on to what I am
But the middle of life it’s the middle of a fight
You don’t seem to understand
I never took much interest in anything
Except for the music it was my dream
But always had this feeling of disinterest
But now I know exactly where to stand
So I trust on punk it makes me carry on
The only thing I never gave up
And reaching the twenties was needed to realize
Punk rocking is my life
And now I can breathe and now I can feel
Clearly and purely like when I was a kid
I’m not going to die without give it a try
Without accomplishing my dream
To stay in the middle that’s a place for the weak
So I don’t want it no more… no more
