Debra Davis Walking With Grace

Time to unpack it and wipe off the dust
Going to take all that I’ve got to dig up this trust
I can’t let it lie there in hiding buried alive
Here in my loneliest hour I remember the time
I was walking with grace
Her hand in mine
Somehow I know the way, closing my eyes
Here I find peace
And my journey won’t tire
One in the same, calling my name
Walking with grace
Caught up in who I and what I and how I must be
Looking for answers from them, should’ve asked me
I wait for divine intervention, some kind of sign
Now in my emptiest hour I remember the time
I was walking with grace
Her hand in mine
Somehow I know the way, closing my eyes
Here I find peace
And my journey won’t tire
One in the same, calling my name
Walking with grace
How could I lose what I know
Find the muse, time to let go…
I was walking with grace
Her hand in mine
Somehow I know the way, closing my eyes
Here I find peace
And my journey won’t tire
One in the same, calling my name
Walking with grace
