Ice skating at Christmastime,
With my friends and family,
Fun in the cold with my mittens on,
Singing my favorite songs merrily!
Round and round I do love to glide,
Without a care in the world;
Glad I layered up when I slip and fall,
Then back up to spin and twirl!
Winter and Christmas are wonderful times,
To have fun with family and friends.
But I won't forget Jesus' birthday because,
It's His love that never ends!
So many things that I love to do
'Tis my favorite time of year!
Love seeing Christmas lights everywhere,
Traditions I hold very dear!
Carols are heard in my favorite stores,
And they're all decorated with glee!
So many smiles, Merry Christmas I hear,
Feels like we're all one big family!

Snowmen can be really fun to make,
Snow angels and snowball fights, too!
Snow days from school make the season bright,
Don't you love when they call out your school?
Pumpkin and apple and cranberry, too,
Some cinnamon sprinkled with love,
On many baked goods that we love to eat,
This season fits me like a glove!

Cozy Afghans and candlelight,
Decorating a gingerbread man,
Cookie swaps, parties, and Christmas break,
Make me smile, feeling so mighty grand!
Sleigh rides and sledding, snowboards and skis,
Hot chocolate and marshmallows, too;
Singing the carols to bring Christmas cheer,
Wishing Merry Christmas to you!
“Bah Humbugs†will always be there,
Grumps and critics who don't like the vibe;
They're worried and frazzled, and stomp on the joy
Of those who love Christmas time!
God offers a gift of salvation from sin,
Such glad tidings we can embrace!
Don't leave that gift under the tree this year,
Accept God's amazing grace!
