I’m wasting away
lack of motivation is killing me
every hand i shake belongs to an empty face
it sinks its’ teeth into my neck
what happened to my opportunities?
i smoked them all away
like an eel that slides in secret
on these nights when i’m not sleeping
lying, conniving, creeping, and crawling
in faux poetic shit i’m drowning
pills to kill the static
look up and curse the day
company loves misery
words don’t do a thing
they want me dead and i’m giving it to them
