You see hate is so contagious, played out and outrageous, but people steady reading and ain't turning the pages
I know courageous souls that are so anxious to see better days and aid those that are faithless

Flaws are beautiful if captured in the right light but naked eyesight is conditioned to see the fight right?
We are the type to judge them and turn a cheek and burn up all of our energy fervently murder peace

The crowd that i used to kick it is complete, full of cheats shady characters all up off of the streets
They'd act natural playin' it so discreet but the deadbeats were the type to rob you in your sleep
I never knew this part of em all of em they were close, it was hard to believe that they arguably were my foes
Snakes in the grass if opportunity passed i was young and it was stupid to let em do me like that
They took all of the cash everything in it's entirety, my family was mad that i ever let em beside o me
But how was i to know that we would get robbed, apparently i set up the ball and it easily dropped
I ain't sayin' it was all their fault cause it was mine too, but i learned to never let anyone hypnotize you
With every twist and turn you learn more true colors run deep, but true colors they roar
