Crematory Souls Astray
Robed in black I set to work
Illuminated by the moon
Distant tress by mist obscured
Lamentation in the air
I seek to free my soul
From these limitations of this life
No physical walls my mind
From freedom to restrain
Twelve white candles in a circle
To protect my body from harm
I burn incense before the gods
And chant archaic words of praise

A veil of smoke clouds the air
I get befogged by the fumes
And as I open my eyes again
I see myself from above
I - my soul - has been set free
To wander in the forest of dreams
I begin walking towards the light
To seek my destiny to come
Between the light and me a laughter can be heard
And as I look up to see it's source...
I turned and run, hope the glade to find
Where I, a while ago my body left
To elude the fiendish thing behind
But my body has been life bereft...
