Crabb Family My Keeper
So many times I felt someone was watching over me,
for there was too much
Unexplained.
Like the day we were swimming, I jumped in the swelling river;
the current quickly carried me away.
I could feel my heart racing as the grave of muddy water
would seal my doom and claim another life.
Like a hand from out of nowhere I was lifted toward the sunlight,
with just one breath I knew that I'd survive.

Now I Know my keeper, I call him by his name.
He brought me through much danger and spared me so much pain.
He knew some day I'd see him, he was never far away.
