Clarity Treading Water
I can feel my chest rot. It crumbles like the diamonds in your eyes did.
And sometimes when I wonder or I wish for something else, my nightmares come out
to haunt me, and they pull me back down.
I'm not sure if my heart belongs here anymore.

I quit treading water years ago and I've been drowning ever since.
