City Lights No Reason
As I walk through my front door
The first time in a while
Empty spots where the pictures were
Remind me of a time
When things were different
And I felt alive
Every time I try to find my place
There's only empty space
In this house of stone
It's been too long since I've felt home

Something different about the smell
Since you took your perfume
All alone on an empty couch
Surrounded by the room

Things would never change
There's a message in the kitchen
On the grocery list
That says “pick up a bottle of wine”
I forget what it feels like
