We have lived in darkness for a long, long time
No one there to guide our way
Bump our heads on everything in sight

If you want to live in Heaven
How long are you going to stumble round
Find no peace in what you're doing
Living in a world of our own design
Thinking we could fool ourselves forever
But in everybody's life there comes that time
He must choose then or he will maybe never know
We have felt such a need to fill an empty space
Everybody's had their say
Take a chance with every different face
Find no satisfaction in their ways
You must live in Jesus light
If you want to live in Heaven

Jesus loves you if you'll only let Him
