The bags are packed lets get this plan in motion
Load up the kids and head straight for the ocean
My wife's ridin' shotgun and holdin' my hand
Gonna keep drivin' south 'til we run into sand
Makin' new memories on our family vacation
Shoppin' for snacks at some dirty gas station
Waited in line for a restroom that stinks
Spent fifty-six dollars on junk food and drinks
Got a bucket and shovel, some sunscreen, a hat
A Frisbee, Nerf football and a big plastic bat
Cheap foldin' chairs with cold drinks in reach
It's time to live it up y'all'cause life's a beach
Pedal to the metal not a blue light in sight
This time tomorrow we'll be stringin' up kites
Rain in the forecast but we're jonesin' for sun
Really don't matter 'cause we're still havin' fun
We'll be the first ones up to go huntin' for shells
Scoop up the best ones 'til we fill up our pails
Watch dolphins emerge spottin' dorsal fins
It's a front row seat through a binocular lens
