At 3 000 feet
The stillness unbroken
Put a vast carpet of logical minds
with the light air streams
the tropic sphere on a book
convulging me with its cold nitrogen arms
We're keeping them alive
I saw hills and valleys
Fields and lakes
ANd something out towards the skyline
GLancing above I saw a resplendent planetarium of stars
Dancing about the most vatical void
Its immensity seemed to expunge the nanoscopic awareness
that was myself
Levitating over
I absorbed sounds from the terrain
Cricket? No? Fox and owl.
Picked and they are afraid. For pasture, they are punished.
Soaring over a haze, into a cloud of bats.
Deep in the congression that their nice ultrasound
A sprinkle into the air
Climbing at micro velocities
I've helped myself in the mesovores
Searing down at the curvature of their horizon
Here, at the fringe of space.
Orbiting as energie between nicht and day.
I detected sounds of a different type.
Down from the leak of the ground.
SOunds from super cities and small townships.
Hissed curses and soothing measured voices
sounded like 2 billion tons gesticulating
and whole on earth revelation and surrender
rappeling at the pronouncement of being alive
Speaking to each other
to themselves.
TO the immeasurable abyss to which they held
But for covered empathy, the thought suddenly struck me
How did I arrive here?
On the edge of the world?
What has become of my body?
Have I died?
Is this an after life?
Or was I ever really born?
How could I see into the earth without the eyes and ears?
Fear and faith, without a brain?
There must be alien technologie.
And it is this moment, just spoken but it seems odd.
