Streets are empty.
The ghosts of winter pass me by.
Lights shine brightly,
this concrete helps my dreams to die.
I feel empty,
a stranger in my own body.
By this time next year
I don't think that you'll remember my name.
I'm just a skeleton inside your closet
tearing away at your foundation.
We all crumble beneath skyscrapers.
My heart's written on loose-leaf paper.
