Lying on some sun-bleached dune,
awaiting the last assault, it won't be long, oh not long
I feel so out of place...a lifeless land,
what a forlorn place for a man to die
Not contemplating, is it wtong or is it right
playing God in foreign lands, announcing
death, the harbinger...
"Vive la morte" I cry, without remorse I wield
the killing tool
I too once lived, till I had to flee,
so far away, from all that I loved, all that I left
behind
I became a machine, trained to kill and forget
what I had once been
Why do I still feel the pain, there must be some
part,
they did not erase...an error in the machine
Oh I can see it now, the dusty road to death
no turing back...it's my coffin full of dreams...
and it's all I have, in the final scene...welcome death
No one sheds a tear, for the legionnaire
Yours is to do and die and not...to question why
