It didn’t take long for me to see
that I was growing up in this Jersey scene
I would write down pointless words and lines
That I still jot down from time to time
And you can hear it
In the words I sing, that half this sh*t don’t mean a
thing
What sucks the most
It does nothing for my pain
But this pen to paper therapy
Isn't solving anything
Please prescribe me medicine
The kind you hide from guys like me
Give it up for the kids who live for this sh*t
Writing songs about their worst day or their f*cked up
girlfriend,
that they still keep on the side
For a good time
Stirring echoes and arguments when I am not around
Re-runs and episodes on late night TV with no sound
