I used to think that people got big writing good songs from the heart
But now I know that people just like to get a number one on the pop
chart
I used to drive around listening to blink
I used to wonder what everybody else would think about the songs I
wrote and are they good enough for the radio?
Everybody's falling apart. Do you know it doesn't have to be so hard?
It seems everybody thought it would be easy to strike gold, but you

played some shows to become myself. It seems everybody thought

I used to see NFG every summer when they came through town
Front row, every show with my best friends singing along dreaming
about walking out on stage every single night saying my bands
name hoping that they like the songs I wrote about my life.. I think I
got the dream right
