Hope Has Come Lyrics

Verse1

I see orphans and widows and broken families

There are homeless and hungry living on the streets

Our sisters and daughters being sold into slavery

Where is the hope

There are people addicted trying to break free

But still they go back, to the same place, they think it's what they need

Where is the hope

Chorus

Hope has come, hope has come children of the world

Our hope has come

Lift your hands, open your eyes, the love of God is here tonight

Hope has come, hope has come children of the world our hope has come

Open your hearts, open your minds, He has come to bring new life

Verse 2

There is a savior, He's waiting for you to run to Him

And He has carried and conquered the weight of all our sin

This is our hope

Bridge

Come all you sons and daughters, drink from the living water

And we will thirst no more

No chains, no pain can hold me, His love is overflowing

And we have been set free
