This town is falling, but the papers say it's "up and coming."
And when it gets here who is left?
Just another college party in the new "cool part of town."
It's time we recognize our part in this displacement.
We're the new problem in the old "bad part of town,"
just the shitheads next door talking about what a great deal we found.
I want to be aware of this community,
not just a f..cked up part in this f..cked up power-play.
And I can't escape my part in this or the f..cked up feeling
that comes with it.
Everybody needs a home.
