Brenda A Child In A Manger
A child asleep lies in a manger, a beautiful child is born.
His parents are standing beside him. the angels are blowing their horns.
Three kings have come far from the orient to Bethlehem this morn’
With frankincense, gold and myrrh for Christ, our Savior is born.
Away in a manger this morning a peaceful scene we can see.
A blessing has come down from heaven, a blessing for you and me.
The shepherds have gathered around to see such beauty and grace,
To see the most precious child, a light shining upon his face.
The wild beasts are quiet and silent; there’s peace all over the land.
For God has sent down his son so all men can hear his command.
