Eyes winking, painfully tearing,
pulling broken limbs from behind mangled body
rearview reflections I see you fall lifeless
into the grass gasping for breath
does the thought lurk somewhere in your mind,
that what you do to others reflects upon yourself?
Know that we aren't just individuals,
but a relative part of everything else
didn’t slow
didn’t stop
didn’t even think
that you might live beyond this moment
how can we over look the pain,
and the suffering we see in life everyday?

soon to fall to the dirt, for the insects to devour
