Grew up in a small town
Where everybody knew everybody by their first name
It was Friday night and we were kickin up dust
Down a back road, but had the world in front of me
Just a roughed up young boy, that didn't know much
But thought he knew everything
Now looking back on all the memories made
I can't think of one that I would change
I was just a little redneck
Always out to get messed up
Shining deer with a spotlight
Ending up gettin mud stuck
Mom and daddy said it aint right
But didn't wanna grow up yet
Thinking maybe it's about time
But I was just a little redneck
Just ended my work week
Got a phone call, changed everything
Never been the type to settle down
I never thought she could be
Everything I need, but she's the one for me
It didn't take long to figure out
So I asked her daddy for her hand
And on one knee I asked to be her man
Now she's my little redneck
Looking good by the bonfire
Likes to drink a little too much
But that's alright
I know it sounds a little crazy
But ya'll that's my baby
She likes to hunt and fish and drive me wild
