Why, does the sarcasm lash from your face when you tell
me the odds are against me?

restrain the innocent?
I disgust the way that you feed off those that confide
in you.
Why, why are you so bureaucratic, I’m irratic.
Life, take the pain.
This is life, (screaming, crying) take the pain
(suffering, dying).
I can remember the screams.
They’re vividly locked in my eyes forever.
I cannot comprehend, cannot comprehend how you sleep at
night.
Cries, cries of despair, deafened my ears for all
eternity.
Cries, the deafening cries of empathy.
The pain you’ve caused
The hate you’ve caused
The life we’ve lost.
And you’re, still breathing
