When I was a young boy I looked forward to a future
Oh so bright and grandiose
It couldn't come soon enough
Now I spend every day questioning my self worth
Wondering what it takes to get by unscathed
Positive outlook/unrealistic ideas/satisfy no one
Life is wasted on a pipe dream
Working harder every day, believing in what they say
Crawling desperate for the door, searching for an escape
Our future's looking bleak to say the least
