Beware Of Darkness Sedona
I don't know how I woke up here
In my fathers car, an open road, a Sedona sky smiles
And I should feel invincible
But I've come to see what I have lost
Or find myself again, after years of being ink
To someone else's pen
I tilt my head back, I get high
It's the only time in my life, I feel alive
I'm running on dreams, and I've got all I need
None of it feels real anymore
The photos prove that I was there
But who I see is someone, that I've never met
The rеd rocks don't care who I am
I get lost inside thеir mystery
Wonder what it means to me, at this time in my life
I'm waking up, to a light, that's always been there
But I've been too afraid to let shine
I'm running on dreams, and I've got all I need
These dreams, lift me to heaven, and then shoot my balloon from the sky
There's a fear I'll never figure it out
The truth is that we don't arrive
But fall forever til we learn to just enjoy the ride
Maybe I don't need to know
All the ways my life could go
Trust that where I'm going
Always guides me home
Sometimes the path is getting lost
Only to remember who we've been all along
