Nice Day For A Hanging Lyrics

It's early in the morning and the sun slowly appears
Inside a cell a man is waiting, nervous of fear
He knows he's gonna die soon, and no-one's gonna save his
soul
Lying on the floor while he waits for the hangman's call

Chorus (2x):
It's a nice day for a hanging - Justice will prevail
It's a nice day for a hanging - A new dawn we will hail

They open up the cell door and take him away
A rope is fetched real tight, so this will be his final
day
My friend, how does it feel to have a noose around your
neck
The end is near and sadly there ain't no turning back

Chorus (2x)
